WHERE WE TRAIN
We are based in Kilkenny City.
On this website we have specially designed tutorials to help with your training. These are password protected and available only to our trainees.
Part 1 - Theory Test for Candidate Driving Instructors
You will be sent a study pack before the training takes place and it is very important to learn this
material as thoroughly as possible before your training begins. The training itself is spread over
2 full days in our classroom where you will get to thoroughly digest the material and understand the
thought behind it.
Part 2 - Driving Test for Candidate Driving Instructors
This training takes place over 3 full days not necessarily consecutive days and consists mostly of driving tuition but also some classroom work for feedback and assessment work. The training will be in our training vehicle, as will the Part 2 Test itself. You will also be given access to the training resources on this website before this training commences.
Part 3 - Instructional Ability Training
This training will take place over 4 full days, not necessarily consecutive days, and focuses on teaching. Your trainer will play the part of a learner driver at different levels of ability and experience; this will be the same format used on the Part 3 exam.
Earn as you learn
When you have passed the Part 2 Driving Test you can start working and earning as a trainee instructor under the guidance of a qualified ADI, gaining valuable experience towards your Part 3 exam.
The next Part 1 Instructor Theory Test training course will commence on Monday 7th January 2013
